PARIS – After four years, nine cities and almost 1.5 million visitors, it’s fair to conclude that The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier has conquered the planet, landing at the Grand Palais in Paris in a triumphant homecoming on its 10th stop.
“Liberté, égalité, Gaultier!” quipped a journalist at the media launch this week for the exhibition, echoing the esteem and fondness the French have for their original enfant terrible.
Gaultier himself was awed that the exhibition, which premièred at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in June 2011. Read more here:
