The folks who run Le Chaînon are counting on you. The organization, a shelter and support network for women in difficulty, is holding a fundraiser to keep up its, frankly, inspiring work.
Louis Vuitton heels on sale at Reluxe, a vintage sale to benefit Le Chaînon.
Reluxe is a sale of vintage, luxury and everyday items on Wednesday (May 25) at the Loews Hotel Vogue. Yes, there will be a silent auction for the in-demand luxury labels – nobody is going to grab and run with those Louis Vuitton heels (leopard with a sparkling brooch) for $40. And there will also be some special pieces, if it’s provenance you’re interested in, like an adorable 60s lace and bow-belt dress from Ann-Marie Cadieux. Condition: impeccable.
Founded in 1932, Le Chaînon lodges up to 66 women per night, serves 50,000 meals a year, and offers support of every kind on any issue – without judgement.
The sale to benefit the foundation’s work kicks off Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Loews Hotel Vogue, 1425 de la Montagne. Tickets are $10.
